Reading Results

Jitter Analysis

The Jitter Analysis tab allows you to view the PASS/FAIL status of the

quality of the call by displaying an estimate of the variance of the real-time

transport protocol (RTP) data packet inter-arrival time.

The available test results are:

³ Jitter Average is the continuous

running average jitter.

³ Jitter Maximum is the maximum

jitter detected.

³ Std. Deviation is the standard

deviation based on the continuous

sample size.

³ Reset Statistics button sets all monitoring values to 0.
